Since I'm on a life-long quest to bring back the White-On-White Rickenbacker, I thought I'd post this of Susanna Hoff's signature prototype. If the link doesn't bring you to her, just search under her name. It's a beauty!

Thanks for the post, rkb. Agreed...... I'd even seriously consider passing her up for the guitar...... for about one second!!

Imagine a raffle where there were two prizes.... Susanna and the guitar. Which would you choose? :?:

Howard, we'll rig the contest so that I'll win one and you win the other. 8)

After about a week, we'll swap prizes, and then after another week we'll swap again, and again, and again, and again ....

Sounds good to me, Rich! You get to play the guitar every second week and you get to play the guitar every other week......... at least I'll know where the guitar is!!!

OK, so I was finally able to distract my attention to the guitar itself for half a moment... what's she got going on with the selector switch? 3-way Tele-type or 5-way Strat? I imagine it would be less likely to pop out of top or bottom position than the standard toggle switch.

We noticed that at the HOB concert during the RIC 75th Anniversary weekend.

Given a choice, I'd take the guitar any day!!! But the other option is pretty darn good, too!

RUmor has it (I.E. I read on the gear page) that the rick pickups on her guitars are actually rigged to hold EMG SA single coil pickups.... dunno if it's true though.

Susanna is so cute. I think if she ever talked to me I'd be so nervous I'd vomit!

She could easily pass for 20 years younger.

Susanna Hoffs or her guitar? You guys crack me up! I'm so glad I don't have to worry about things like that.... My 350 SH arrived today (took a lot longer to get here than I expected), and I will open the case at noon tomorrow! :D

BTW, for the record, My husband said that given the chance, he would gladly take Susanna!

I told him he should be happy to have a lovely lady who will play the guitar that bears her name! The fact that he bought it for me really says it all! :D

Here she is playing another Ric. It looks like one of her signature models, in Tuxedo finish, with the top pickguard replaced with one of the white signature pickguards. At least, we think that's what it is.
