650 - fret wire size?

Most of my playing these days is done using my Variax, because its versatility is unbeatable in the worship setting that is my primary gig. However, I've played my 650 'out' a couple of times recently, and it's reminded me just how much I love the neck and the overall feel of the guitar, not to mention the sound.

The Variax has a typical Strat-style neck on it, which I find tiring to play for any length of time, because it's too skinny. I would love to have a clone of my 650 neck to replace it. Because the neck pocket is Strat-sized, there are any number of after-market alternatives I could consider. I've been looking at Warmoth's offerings, and can match the 650's profile, width and scale length without too much trouble - but I have no idea what to specify for fret wire size. They use Dunlop's sizing - 6100, 6105 and so on - but I don't know how to match that to what's on my 650. Can anyone help me out?

TIA,
David

I don't know where RIC gets its fretwire. The closest for guitars is Dunlop #6230. Stew-Mac sells #0148, which is also close.

A Variax will rot your brain. If God had intended us to have Variaxes, She wouldn't have given us Rickenbackers.

Thanks, Paul - the information about the fretwire was all I needed.
