I am probably going to get in trouble for this but here goes..... I have always said, "Blue Jean Blues" is the perfect blues song. Here's the lyrics first, and then I will opine!

I done ran into my baby
and fin'lly found my old blue jeans.
I done ran into my baby
and fin'lly found my old blue jeans.
Well, I could tell that they was mine
from the oil and the gasoline.

If I ever get back my blue jeans,
Lord, how happy could one man be.
If I ever get back my blue jeans,
Lord, how happy could one man be.
'Cause if I get back those blue jeans
you know, my baby be bringin' 'em home to me.

This has all the elements. The whole idea of his baby leaving him and maybe coming back to him, is told through the "prism" of his old jeans!

PS - This is an invitation for mo' blues with great lyrics, and why!

Charly: I do not have this in my collection. Could you send me an mp3 so I could get a better feel for this song?
