I am working on some cabs for my bass rig . I bought them on ebay . they are 20" H x 16" W x 13" D . They have a vent/port in the front that is
11.5" x 2.75" . I think the vent is too large because they sound almost like an open back cab . I've added another baffle under the 12" speaker leaving a 1.5" vent at the rear that will disperse to the front vent . I have not tested this new configuration yet but was thinking someone must have a speaker cab formula or computer program to figure this stuff out . The speakers are Weber Neo 12s . :?

Get yourself a book on Theile and Small. To properly tune the cabinet you will need a signal generator.

Rick, I have design software but I need the T/S parameters for the driver(s). I looked on the Weber site and they don't list any specs.

All his cabinet design samples show open backs.

Yeah John , no specs yet but they are working on having them on the website soon . The 12" Neos I have are 70 watt and remind me very much of JBL D120s . They have a nice deep bottom , I think about 40Hz.
