I leave it up on my 6 strings (neck pick-up) and down on my 12 strings (bridge).

My Ric-O-Sound Ricks are 85% of the time in middle position. My 650 is in middle or bridge and my 660s are in middle or neck positions usually. Middle more than not on all of them, I suppose.

I learned my lesson and always leave it in the case with the guitar. I used to leave it in the studio but I kept losing it.
