I dig it. I added you as a friend. I think I will soon have about $10 less than I currently do.

Brian took the words right out of my mouth.

Thanks guys!

Glenn felt I was selling myself short on credits, so: I played the guitar solos on "Unlike Yesterday" (660/12), "Complicated" (Glenn's '62 Strat RI), "Tearjerker" (381v69), and "My Baby Died On Valentine's Day" (381v69). I also played all the keyboards, which includes "typewriter"(!!).

Oh, and 10 shillings to the person who guesses which track does NOT have a Rick bass on it.

My download just started. Great work John. We need more power pop representation at RRF.

And download now finished.

John, I sent my 21 year old niece the link to The Janglemen. Her reply is listed below.
Wow. I really like them a lot. They almost sound like this other band I listen to called Deathcab for Cutie. How did you hear about them?

Whoa, I would never have compared us to Death Cab, but I will take that as a compliment!

Yeah, I don't hear the Death Cab connection at all, but it is definitely good stuff.

Great sounding samples on CD baby John, Glenn and Mike. My copy will be downloaded this evening once I get home from the office. Very successful jangle. Refreshing change from the drivel coming out on major labels. Tearjerker & 9 Others will join Impact Zone on my top driving tunes list.

Man, I have the greatest respect for the forum members here. What a great collection of artists. North of Malibu and The Janglemen both have great CDs. The forum project should be pretty amazing as well. All the singel projects everyone tackles and posts, just tons of talent hanging out here, methinks.

Here are some photos from various Janglemen recording sessions, dating back to early May:

Glenn on my 660/12:

The three of us (and a lot more hair):

Me and the 4005WB BG, in happier times (it appears on several songs):

Recording a solo on Glenn's '88 '62 RI Strat - this was the workhorse guitar of the sessions, actually:

Drummers can play Ricks, too!

Note: John's hair becoming shorter just after the Janglemen started recording is a complete coincidence (unlike Ringo losing his beard when he replaced Pete Best.) Also, i.e. the strat, it's a fair guess there's at least one Rick on every track we did. How many throughout, I lost count.
