Because of the snow, I got home late last night. So I'm making latkes this evening. (No, not from scratch.)
PS: And thank you for spelling it with a "Ch" the closest thing in English to the correct pronunciation. I hate the spelling "Hanukkah."

Happy Channukah to all who celebrate!
My daughter is making Latkes FROM SCRATCH tonight for a dear friend, (I hope they come out crunchy this year) so my fingers are crossed.
Last year they were a BIT soggy!
Along with some other traditional foods, I get to "sample" all the goodies!

I actually prefer the "Hanuka" spelling, I when people say "Ch" it sounds like "צ" in Hebrew, while it should be "ח"...
