Ben says " NO COY for 2008 " over on Rickenbackers website. Oh well, at least we'll now get to guess the COY for 2009 !! It's in the bass section at the bottom of the second page of the "Possible New Color " thread.

Shell pink would be incredibly cool, but I personally prefer some purple burst, or maybe turquoise burst.

Awwww....shell pink is such a girly color. I saw a funky green burst that was pretty cool. They could call it Johndeerglo (leaving off the extra 'e' for copyright purposes.)
Maybe I could start saving up my pennies for the '09 COY too.
