My band, Skaface, will be playng Clinton's Tavern (Bloor St W at Christie Subway) on Friday January 4th 2008 with Street Corner Skandal (2 Tone style ska) and the Midways (60's type garage rock). Also, DJ Splattermonkey will be spinning tunes between sets. All in all, a good cure for your New Years hangover.

I saw Skaface back in the mid-90s at the Albion Hotel in Guelph. A real skankin' good time. Were you a member of the band back then?

Probably not. I was a founding member in 1988, then the band more or less broke up in 92 and the singer & bass player continued with various other members for a few years. The line-up is back to the core from 89-92, but with a different horn section.

We have opened for all of the above at some point, Laurel Aitken even came out & sang Longshot Kick de Bucket with us once. No usable video that I know of. We played on a popular morning TV show a bunch of times that someone in the band must have the video for, I'll see if I can get a hold of it.
