I'm a big McCartney fan, but it was kind of boring.

I thought that parts of the performance were fantastic and some other parts were pretty mediocre (for an ex Beatle). He's still got it. He's alway been a great entertainer . He knows how to ham it up and how to get an audience involved. Not bad for a bloke of his age. I would say that overall it was a performance worth watching. I did not see any Rickenbackers at all. His trusty Hofner was used a fair bit. That was the only major disapointment really.

I enjoyed it. I would of course like to see him play the Rickenbacker too.

I only caught the last bit... it looked like there were 5 total in the band. I recognized the drummers... Do we know much about the others?

They've been his standard tour band for years. As Early as the back in the USA tour.

I loved the EB-3 bass and the number of SG's in general on that stage!
