I have been looking to find a nice on new 330 for awhile and this week I realized that maybe I waited to long.I didn't know until a couple of days ago when I was getting prices from some internet dealers and ...Wholly Cow!I guess some of those dealers are trying to recoup some of the money they lost when they were giving away rickenbackers at far below list price.
Anyway,after finding that prices steeply increased at most of the big dealers I found one that still had Jetglo Rics in stock and they sent me an email quote at a pre 12/13 price plus another $200 in discounts on top of that. Cool!I deceided to make my move but when I did,the Rick in my shopping cart had a price $500 above my quote!!!
I called the retailer and the said that is the price now.When I told them about my quote they were at a loss as to how this happened.They told me I had to send a Fax of the the price Quote to a manager which I did and he didn't get it so I had to trudge out in the snow the next day to send it again(I don't have a Fax but Office Depot does fortunatly).
Well,finally the manager got back to me and apologized for the hassle.He gave me the old price plus the $200 of discounts and told me he he would ship it today,2-day express,so I can have it on Friday(I hope).Of course this being Winter and me living in Minnesota,it means I won't be able to see this baby until Saturday.
I don't know why but the 330 is really my favorite Ric.I used to have a 2005 Jetglo 330 but I traded it to a forum member 2 years ago and I have always regretted That.I Can't wait to see this one.I wonder if it has the smaller headstock and new Hi-Gains.That would be cool.

Thanks so much Kris.I have been looking for awhile to get a good deal on ebay but has gotten harder to get a good deal and when I heard about some of the changes on the 2007 Ricks I decided I would like to get a new one.Glad I decided to buy one when I did.

I hope it is everything you expect and more. I just bought a 360 Jet glo and then today fell hard for a 330 Amber Fireglo.
The madness never ends. Let us know how the 330 works out for you. I think I'm going pull the trigger on that 330 AFG - it appears that that color was only for 2006.Geez
And I have to admit that the Rick 330's are my favorites.

I think there might be several forumites that are secretly (or not) patting themselves on the back for ordering or purchasing their Rics when they did. I know I am. I'm still waiting, though. 2008 is going to be my year.
