I'm looking to purchase a 320 or 325 if someone has one available. I would prefer a mapleglo, but would really be open to anything that's available. If you've got something or a lead on something please contact me via email at [email protected] or send me a message on the forum.

I've got my 325V63 for sale at the following address:

http://www.webcorral.com/Ivg_Inventory_frame.html

Scroll down a bit, it's there. If you purchase that, I can save up for another guitar!

Still looking. I'd love to have one in MG or FG, but anything will do. Please let me know if you've got something or got a lead on something. I definitely can't spend over $2K.

Hi there,
I'm afraid I know from experience that $2k isn't going to be enough for a 320 or 325v59. I'm a lefty and I won't horrify you with how much we have to pay for these beauties! Certainly not helped by the latest price rise...
However - good luck!
Byron

Well, they are definitely around. I just missed a used 325c58 at a Wisconsin music store for $1750 and I've seen several 325v59 and 325v63 models go on ebay and various retailers for $1700-$1900. And I've seen some older 320's and 325's go for around $1500, so it's definitely possible. I'm just waiting around for the right one. I know the lowest price I've seen on a new 325 (v or c series) or 1996 is about $2295. And I'm not a lefty, so it shouldn't be near as hard for me as it is for you.

Keep at it Brian, they can be found for under $2k for sure. An '83 320 I sold Chris at POTR sold for $1500 or $1600 just two months ago or so.

I think you'd have better luck finding an original 80's model for a good price than a vintage reissue.

They appear every now and then, so I'll keep my eyes open.

Try to find another one like these, though:
320 Red
320 Red
320 Silver
320 Silver
now that would be a bit more difficult!

(Sorry neither is currently for sale!)

Not meaning to hijack the thread, but Jake's link above lead me to look at a "1967 Gibson ES-335" that the dealer has advertised as "all original" ... it isn't, the knobs are not correct for a '67 (I know because my 1967 ES335TDC is all original). Of course, the 1967 attribution is may not be correct, too.

Well, I snagged one. Some of you may have seen the '02 325c58 MG in the for sale section (link below). I called the shop as soon as I saw the thread posted to put some money on it, but the guy said that it was already on hold pending a trade in, but I would be the first person he called should something happen. Well, I waited a couple days, and held out on a couple other purchases, and he called me back and said it was available. I immediately sent him the money to put it on hold. I will send the balance on monday and it should be in my hands by the end of the week. Patience is definitely a virtue. It's in great condition except for some mild buckle rash on the back, a few small dings, and a missing Kauffman Vibrola arm, but I've already ordered a trapeze to replace the Kauffman. I'm very glad that I held out for this one, as it is the exact model of 325 I wanted most. As soon as it arrives I will post some pictures, after I play with for a while, of course. So, thanks to everyone who had tips and leads. I greatly appreciate it.

Congrats, Brian! You'll be amazed at how light-weight that c58 is.

You got that right! My first Ric was a 350v63, which I thought was an incredibly small, lightweight guitar. When I pulled my first c58 out of it's case, I thought someone had sub'd a toy replica! Feather light...and a joy at that!!

Well, I received my 325c58 MG, and after a grueling 24hr wait, too, her out this evening. I changed the tailpiece to the trapeze and could not be more satisfied. It is light as a feather and it sounds and plays incredibly well. Here's a picture:
