I'm surprised that out of 300 DCM instruments made, only 18 have been registered to this day. Is it because people do not want the serial number to be seen by others, possibly devaluing their instuments by someone who would make a copy as JH once stated?
If that is the case, you can put the serial number in the comments where it is not publicly seen and leave it blank or just put part of it in the serial number box.
I don't know how anyone else feels, but having my Ricks registered is one more piece of evidence that they are mine. Looking at the data is very interesting also.
