Just wondering if Chris Squire registered his bass in the register.
Anyone know?

Well, if there's ANY Rickenbacker bass that should be there, it's HIS!!

He is responsible for A LOT of Rickenbacker basses bought since 1970 I'd say.

Well, it's the users who put their instruments into the register, not us breaking into their house and taking them ;)

I clicked on it, then on the "see more entries from this user" link - are these really all CS's or has someone else registered it for him? I genuinely don't know.

He purchased the model 1999 bass (serial number DC127) in 1965 while an employee of Boosey and Hawkes, LTD, a musical instrument retail business. It was the fourth bass of its kind to be imported into England (Rickenbacker is an American guitar manufacturer). Allegedly, the first three had pedigrees themselves, as Chris remembers, "Entwistle had one, the guy in the Kinks [Pete Quaife] had one, and Donovan had one."

Well....?

Good question - clicking that gives more basses (24) from all over the US and the world. Peter????

John: The link to which you refer simply provides a list of all those registrations entered by the same person. These basses have been added from viewing them on ebay, Craigs list, dealers sites and so on. Not all are necessarily personal.

I am glad people are taking more notice of the Register. :D

So, if ser# DC127 IS Chris Squire's bass, then somebody else has put it in the register for him?

Then if Chris tries to register his bass here he will find out that it is already in the register.
Wouldn't he be a bit miffed then?

I don't get it. Am I missing something here?
