John's 325 Guitar Strap (pre-Vox Python)

Hi Everyone
I was just wondering if anyone knew where I could obtain a guitar strap for my Jetglo 325C58 like John's before he started using the Vox Python?
Any help would be grately appreciated!

I think John's strap was a Selmer leather strap. They're hard to find, but you can get pretty darn close with a Ric Vintage strap. You'll probably need to shorten a newer "vintage" strap--every strap I've bought hangs the guitar down around my belt buckle even at the shortest fitting. A leather punch and shears solve the problem...

Finally getting a B5 mounted on my 325 next week....phew!

Congrats on the guitar! You're going to be very happy with the Bigsby! BTW, the Ric strap looks right at home on the c58, IMO.
Post some pics of yours when you get a chance!

That's a really nice looking 325 you've got there Bill! You're right -the Ric strap is just right!
By the way, what's the best way to clean the black paint off the Bigsby without tarnishing the polished surface on the rest of the B5?

Mike, thanks for the kind words, it really is a sweet instrument.
On the paint, I used a little acetone on a q-tip, and some toothpicks. The acetone will soften the paint, and then you scrape with the toothpicks. Once it's mostly gone, a little light rubbing with some steel wool will finish the job. Strongly recommend doing it before you have the Bigsby put on. I did it with the unit on the guitars, but it was a bit nerve-racking. I just didn't want to remove and replace the unit for fear of stripping a screw thread in the wood. I just used rags and some blue painting tape to cover the guitar finish and went VERY slowly
