Jazzy Rick sound -- Nivram

Post by ric340JG »

Hi, I'm new. I have a 340/6JG (which I have just registered) and I would like to start off by posting a recording of a jazzy number called Nivram (by the Shadows) which I'm sure most of you know. The strings are D'Addario roundwounds (09-42) and the pickup combination is neck+bridge. The guitar was plugged directly into my PC and the recording program is Cakewalk Guitar Tracks Pro.

Enjoy :D

I wasn't able to listen to it... it wouldn't play on media player.

Can you possibly upload to Soundclick? I'd love to hear it!

Hi Nick, I have never worked with Soundclick . . . I'm surprised that you can't download from 4share . . .

Anyway, I would be happy to email it to you . . .

Bojan: Outstanding!

Thank you Sheena, thank you Peter . . . and thank you Nick. :D

Nick, I registered with Soundclick last night, but to tell you the truth, the whole registration procedure looked rather intimidating, for lack of a better word. Anyway, I'm really glad you worked it out so that you could listen to the soundfile. What was the problem with media player anyway?

Here is Bojan's version of Nivram. Another sterling performance.

Hello Bojan, I see that we share the same taste for good music ;-)! I have also recorded a version of Sleepwalk and am planning to record Nivram as well. I love the guitar playing on your versions. It´s excellent. What I do not like is the boring background files you seem to use. I think your recordings would improve a great deal, if you would take the time to arrange the background yourself and play the bass guitar yourself - just a thought. Kind regards, Markus.
