Late 90's Dano 59 DC in "Commie Red", $150 at my local Cash or Pawn.This thing sounds great,through my AC15CC1!Hey Paul ,how much to paint it "Limo Black" to match my Rick?$39.95?

Beater?! As a Dano lover, I believe masonite is a real tonewood. One of the guitars I wish I had NEVER parted with is my long-lost '59 DC in Commie Red.
I still miss it. The tone was so unique; not a hint of jazz in that guitar. Somehow though it was perfect for fast runs, flatpicking, and was an overall perfect compliment to my Rics.
I have a Longhorn bass and Longhorn/Mando-guitar at the moment. Need another DC...

love it,mitch! my $170 ebay hodad bass is the sh*t! i've bought and sold a lot of basses over the last 5 years,and i'm hanging on to this one! it's black sparkle,really love the commie red,and i think they made a white sparkle as well,but those seem rare....

Thanks alot guys.I am really digging the Dano,sounds awesome through my AC15CC1 and when I add my Tech 21 XXL pedal it really screams!By the way,where can I find a plastic strap button like the one below.The top top one on my guitar is missing.
