Pretty good rendition Nick. The GF has good taste in music too.

Very cool Nick! Obviously a tough Macca vocal - I can certainly empathize with the flat tuning.

Phhht.... it I could've done it justice I would be jumping for joy! It's a groovy tune for sure... I'm starting to play 98% of all my stuff 1/2 step down, just seems a touch easier.

That's because it is!
Didn't know you had a Tele, which model? I've got a terribly beat up MIM Standard from '96 or so. I like it!

Not my Tele, I do have a 97 American standard strat in jetglo we'll call it! When recording the lead I kept hitting that friggen middle pickup, so I just took buddies MIM Tele to record the lead. I've since dropped the middle pup so that I never hit it, and it still sounds alright. a bit lower, so I can use it for rhythm and neck or bridge for lead. pretty cool actually.

Just to show you where my head is at -
I was wondering 'why is a Pentangle song in a Beatles thread:'
