Tony: I am interested if your recording techniques and parameters have changed since you moved away from the Marshall cabinet and have now gone with the Fender combo. Does the addition of a keyboard present you with different challenges or is it same old?
Interested GBBB fans want to know.

Sorry it's taken a time to respond Peter.
With regard to the recording technique of combo vs 4x12, then if you take the attitude that you should get the sound right before you mic it up, then no...nothing has changed at all. I use the same equipment & technique as I have always used.
The addition of a Hammond also makes little difference to my style. If you listen closely to the Carnivores CD, you will hear a Hammond on many of the tracks. Admitedly, it plays a much more dominant role now, both in terms of volume & arrangement, but it's not that different to how I worked with the Carnivores.
