OK, so my daughter just had to try the Rick By herself so I figure it's over a month old, she has been wanting to since I got it.
let's see...A set of shades and ...well ...Rockstar!

I think she'll make a great RickResource member of the future :D
Well, maybe a 325 to start........

That's the ticket, get 'em while they're young. Better to play music than a lot of other stuff I can think of.

I always have the kids in the music room listening to my CD collection new and old stuff.
If they're around they are always reaching over and giving the guitar a strung while I'm trying to play which doesn't bother me.
They usually grab one of the 3/4 size guitars I bought for them, to toy round with and jump right on in.

Anything but gameboy, playstation, zoning on cartoons, stuffing there face with junk food.
I'm just so glad they really enjoy music from the start. Love to be in it and around it.

Other than the 360 is a bit large for her, it's a cool pic. Yeah, a 325 would be much better for her!

I'm right there with you Kevin! I'm always on the lookout for activities for my boys that DONT involve television,playstation...etc etc. I know i've posted this pic before, but it fits this thread! Music is the one activity that i'm sure will benefit my children, and if a Rickenbacker is in the mix, they can't not love it!! :D
....and my 2 yo wants the 360!!!

This sort of thing kind of brings a conundrum to our house. I grew up in a musical home, but we didn't have things like good quality Ricks or recording gear laying around the house. It was the good old "spending my summer mowing laws at 50 cents per hour to pay off that $80 guitar".

So now how do I tell mine to "get a job and get your own Rick" with a straight face? 8)

Little kids with Rics...........melt my heart..........but I guess no more than my big kids. All my students wanted to try my new Ric. Well she was only a week old when I brought her to school. So I made them check for belt buckles, buttons, zippers, etc. and they each got 10 minutes to play. Because of no fault of their own, this is about as close to a Ric as they will get. Most come from single parent households just trying make ends meet. Maybe my mantra of stay in school.........get an education makes sense. It was so much fun to see them play. They handled the Ric like a newborn baby. I even had two ask if they could take photos of it with their phones.

Then we took a group photo for the school yearbook

Excellent!

Reminds me of a photo of Susanna Hoffs playing a 360 on the cover of the first Bangles EP. I think she switched to a 325(before getting her own sig model) for the same reason. :D

Here's my 11 year old son, Jeremy, on stage during Brian Medway's visit in December 2007. Notice his choice of weapon?

My daughter Izabella, is eight years old, and prefers the simplicity of black and white, hence the 450-12 JG in her hands:-
