I think that's pretty cool. I like the use of the Sharpie marker to set the key he's playing in.
I don't know if I could listen to an entire concert of that but maybe a few tunes - That's perdie coo.....

Funky is the word that comes to mind. Crowd sure loved his show. Yeah, perdie coo....

The upper horn on that 2-stringer kind of resembles the cresting wave of a 650 Dakota.

There are more and more of these Hill Country type players coming about. I think it's kinda cool myself; the more primative the better!

I did a show back in October in Harrisonburg, VA and one of the acts was a band made up of a guy that played 2 and 3 string cigarbox guitars with a bottle neck, a washtub single string bass player, a guy on harp and another guy on a trap kit. Really hip sound but the guitar guy was a total poser who kept trying to tell everyone that "This is what they be doing in north Mississippi, y'all..." then he'd play some tune by a Delta cat. I don't think the guy had ever stepped foot in Mississippi in his entire life and he surely didn't know the difference between the music of the hills and the delta.
