Melibee in South Florida

Tonight I am hosting a visit from the Breitsp ... Britsper ... er, never mind ... Melissa from this forum is in South Florida, and bringing her family to my house tonight. Why do I have this expectation that they're all going to talk like the people from "Fargo"? Anyway, I don't have kids, it's just me, but I figure I can just hook her boys up to my Sony Playstation - that should keep 'em quiet why we rummage through my guitar cache. It's Italian night - pizza for the kids, pasta and home-made sauce, sausage & meatballs, garlic bread and wine for the adults, likely followed by some playing through my PA system. We'll see how it goes - I'll report back tomorrow.

Was just in your neck of the woods last week, Steve. My son lives in Plantation. My better half and I were there for a day before flying off to DC. I shoulda stayed in Florida. The 50 degree swing in temperatures was a bit much.

Sounds like one heckuva party. Good food, fine drink, good friends, and great music...it doesn't get any better. That's livin'!

Have a great time, Steve. Melissa, Marc and the boys are great company but you will need the Playstation to keep the boys amused..... and maybe Marc too!!

Aw, I am finally experiencing RickenLove. It was a great time. The food was enjoyed by all, the PlayStation 2 was a big hit with the boys, who thought I was very cool, by the way ... we played songs for hours, never ran out of things to talk about, and they didn't leave until after 12:30 or so ... I did drink the most. Anyway, here is a photo from our momentous occasion, which was, generally speaking, way too happy for me ...

Exactly what dialect of English is this, J-Dog ? When I read this, I recall Barbara Billingsly talking jive in Airplane. Anway, it's all hip hop on the up swat. S-Pile.
