Searchers Downunder 2008

Just wondering how many aussie members have caught up with the band on their 2008 tour. Managed 2 shows myself, I never get bored watching them perform. They are such great entertainers.

Not this time, Mike...... caught them a few years ago in Melbourne and enjoyed them immensely. BTW.... I'm assuming you mean the 'John McNally' Searchers as against Mike Pender's?

Hi Howard, yes it was John McNally's Searchers. Extremely entertaining and still playing to full houses whenever they come to Australia. They still have a large following. I did catch up with Mike Pender's Searcher about 18 months ago, it was very dissapointing for Mike, the venue was poorly advertised, it was mid week and no more than 12 people turned up in this large auditorium. But the true professional that he is he still put on a great show.
