George: Can you pinpoint the first instrumental recording to use reverb?

Ahhh a subject near and dear to my heart...but more complex then one might think. Likely the first post 50's "rock" recording was Bob Vaught & The Renegades Surf Crazy or The Lively Ones Surf Rider..both from 1962/63. These recording used the outboard Fender "accutronics" tank...with thanks to the Hammond Co....and Leo Fender. There is much more to the story of reverb that I will leave for another thread...I can start it back from the mid 1600's....

George: I suspect that the Renegades is spelled incorrectly on You Bube but this must be the era of which you speak. Sections of this tune sound very much like "Travelin' Man" to me.
