Does anybody use a POG or micro POG with a 6-string Rickenbacker to simulate a 12-string?
I saw the videos on YouTube, the POG seems really good, but the micro POG seems pretty ******.

Re: Electro-Harmonix POG
Used my micro pog with my bass and my keyboard, but not with a guitar yet. It's not a bad little box. It seems a bit more effect-y than what most people would prefer, if that makes any sense.

Re: Electro-Harmonix POG
It just seems that in the videos of the micro-POG the octave up sounds kind of "scratchy", but I am not sure if it is not because of the guitars. In all the micro-POG demos all the guitars used are strat-pickup type guitars. The POG (not micro) does not sound "scratchy" at all in the demos.

I've got the POG and it can definitely get as close to a 12 string as you're going to get with an effect pedal. I'd say it's not bad, it's not scratchy at all, but it obviously can't compare to a real 12 string. If you were going to use it to emulate a 12 string for one song in a set or something like that it's perfect. I like it more though when you get some sub-octave in there and tone down the +1 & +2 octaves.
