Happy birthday, Timothy, mister Fireglo, one of not-so-talkative ones among us! I don't know how old you are, but i wish you twice, thrice, etc as many happy birthdays in your life, and a nice celebration.

Thank you very much Sheena! It's always nice to get a birthday wish! My avatar is a picture of me in Rocky Mountain National Park back in December 2007. A friend and I spent 4 days there. It was a great trip. When I resized it for my avatar, it got a bit blurry.

Oh, today I turned 45!

Aha, i see now. I did have a suspicion there was a human being there in the pic, but wasn't 100 % sure.

Happy Birthday, young man! I just turned 56, so now you can feel good!

RMNP in December - had to be cold! Beautiful place though. We got snow in mid September '79 at Longs Peak and had a couple cold nights of it.

The first day we hiked in the park it was 11 degrees f with high winds. We loved every minute of it though. We just day hiked. We stayed at the Holiday Inn in Estes Park. We weren't hard core enough to camp out in that kind of cold!

I camped out in such weather only once! That was back in '87 on Memorial Day weekend, we camped at Tuolomne Meadows in the Yosemite High Country, around 9000', with hail, snow, etc.
