Removing those pesky scuff marks from a vintage case

Hi all,
Some of you may already be aware of this handy tip, and it's most likely not a cure-all by any means, but the next time you manage to put a scuff mark on your vintage case, try using a "Magic rub" or "Mars Staedtler" eraser to remove the scuff mark. It worked wonders on a few scuff marks and black spots on one of my vintage cases. Try a short, circular motion. Be careful not to rub too hard, as this may dull the surface, but even if this is done, the gloss can be restored with a small touch of vinyl dashboard cleaner and a rag.
