…Of our upcoming 30th wedding anniversary this summer my wife bought me this 360C63 back in January. Thanks to Kevin Kuney for locating this guitar and for giving me the C63 bug more than a year ago. This was my preference for a 12 due to some of the features (some exclusive) of the C63. The 7” fretboard radius, 21 frets, toaster pickups, and the X-braced top as opposed to the block running through the other semi-hollow bodied Ricks. Even unplugged this guitar really sings.

How does it sound through the Subway Blues?
Actually I have only played it through my Fender so far but I will try it sooner or later. I have been playing with different tubes in the Subway Blues. Currently I have 12AT7s in V-1 and V-2. I am trying to tame down the amp a bit. I was advised by a repair guy to put the 12AX7s back in V-1 and V-2 and put a 12AT7 in the inverter position. I just can't believe how loud that thing is. I sold my DC-5 (50 watts) to buy the Subway (20 watts) but it is still louder than I want, and is not a master volume amp.

My DC-2 was quite loud, even my Princeton Reverb can be too loud. Are we getting old or something?
