$800 w/HSC.
It's got a nice tone, kinda like a P-bass with more low-end. Very punchy, even with the stock strings. Neck is very shallow front to back, very low action. In fact I had to loosen the truss rod at initial set-up. The sunburst isn't as bright as it appears in the photos, it's more subdued.
Yep, big Danko fan. A original would be nice but for me, finding a lefty one would be pretty tuff.

Who knows if original lefty ones even exist!
What's the pickup in the Eastwood like - HB? Single coil?

There was at least one lefty, Joe Long of the Four Seasons played one, seen in the The Bass Book(I think that's the book).
From the Eastwood website: Single Alnico EW-Humbucker
If, you're referring to the different bass player, yes, the Four Seasons changed line-ups thru the years. Not really that uncommon.

Sort of looked like the same guy to me, but then I was watching his hands mostly. Just noticed he was a righty, and wondered if they had him play that one righty because of the walking out on stage and the necks possibly knocking. Different guy explains it all!

Oh, well you're obviously looking at the wrong photos; look at the ones linked in my original post.

Yeah, Ronn...I want one of those too. A righty of course! I'm a big Danko fan too (why wouldn't you be?!?!). I was a little concerned about Eastwood build quality, but all I've heard are good things. Their other retro reish's look pretty cool too.
Congrats!

I've had an original one before, John. Chunky necks, and boy, have those risen in price! Ronn, are the Eastwood necks any slimmer?

Indeed, the necks are chunky but I am a fan of that. I passed on one last summer for $2100. The sunburst had been stripped.
