I finally finally did it.
I have wanted one for a long time, ........
I will report back later on how she sounds....
kinda got a perma- smile right now!
I could basically east bananas sideways for the rest of the day! (while playing every Rush tune I can think of.....)
Yes, I took the day off from work! Thank you Real Estate make my own hours Job!

thanks for the kind words!
I really am outta my mind with this thing
I bought some new roundwounds, ernie ball 100/80/65/45
it has flatwounds on it now, dont know the size.....
but first thing, is I am gonna put on those strings, and give the bass a good cleaning....
and then I gotta give it a name.....do you have a name for your ric?
and.....the electronics are kinda noisy, so I was gonna put contact spray cleaner on the pots.....
and how do I adjust the intonation and the action? I wanna do an in home setup, and get familiar with the bass...
then maybe take it to a ric expert here in NYC, anyone know who to take something like this to and get a real pro setup?
so, in summary
***clean and new strings
enjoy
***fix noisy electronics
enjoy
***do a basic setup
enjoy
****do a real pro setup
enjoy
THEN....gotta get directions to AMPEG BLVD!
any other advice, besides ENJOY?!?!?
OH, can the dude with THREE 4003 MG/BT rics, set up and take a group photo? sorry to be so bold, but that would be
