One of my realtives used to say and I quote "your grandfather would have been a rich man if he's caught that damned leprechaun, but for his drinking, but then he went and fell off that damn roof didn't he?" "What was he thinking?"

I love my heritage. It is so rich with personalities that are enough to make a cat laugh.

Hey!! I'm half Irish (from Belfast..... some would say not the 'real' Ireland) and my beloved Mum and I always used to celebrate St. Pat's day with a Guinness or three. Since she left us I've continued the tradition until this year...... bloody gout means a strict 'no alcohol' regimen until it's sorted out. Bummer!!!

HOWEVER with Graham arriving in a few days I'm sure some belated celebrations will be in order over the next few weeks!!

True story: I went to what I was sure was the fights one night with a relative in Carrick on Suir and discovered that I was actually in a pub.

I may have a "remote claim" Brian!
Look at my surname!!! It used to have O' in front of it!!
