String height - What action do you like most?

I am building a guitar and, by nature of its unique design it will not have adjustable action. I, therefore, need to decide on a decent set string height at ,say, the 2nd and 25th frets.

I'd love to get a consensus on what other guitarists like to use. Personally, I like my action quite low - just barely over the point where string buzz sets in over the first couple of frets. I'm guessing about 1.5mm at the 25th fret, and about 0.8mm at the headstock end.

What do you like?

With a capo at the 1st fret to factor out nut height, I like 4/64"-5/64" @ 13th fret, ~0.05" relief. I could set it lower, but I don't like the "plink" I'd get when I dig in. This action lets it ring out pretty nicely, even when I bash it. 8)
