Does anyonme out there in Ric land have a set of measurements for the string height at the 1st. fret and then at the 12th. fret for their Ric 360-12? Although I consider the action on my 360-12 to be fairly low, I still have to put a little more pressure on the strings at the 1-3 frets than I would like to have to. I believe I can lower the action a little more without buzzing...but before I mess with anything, I'd like to get some measurements from some of you to compare my guitar action to. I am using the Rickenbacker Brand strings(.010 high E's, etc) so I think they would be considered a light gauge set. The neck is set with almost no relief. Thanks for any help in advance. -BC

I don't own a 12, but the way I do it is to put a capo on the first fret (well, just behind it a smidge), and measure the height over the 2nd fret. Then, I move the capo up to the 2nd and repeat. Then, I extrapolate these measurements backward and add 0.002-0.003" for good luck. This method gives me a very low but buzz-free nut height -- my guitars are strung heavy, but F chords are still no problem.
