The drummer is the best vocalist in the band.
If I didn't see it, I'd never know the bass was a Rickenbacker.
I guess I like the up front, rasping tones that Squire and Lee had.

Don't know why, but I am continually surprised when I find out bands I've always liked used Rick instruments, especially the bass. Maybe I should just start assuming..... Thanks, Brian.

Great band. Typical of what great 70's pop was all about, usually with interesting lyrics. Godley and Creme were the main guys with Graham Gouldman on bass.

Listen to "I'm Not In Love" and you'll hear the Ric bass in the mix, no problem.

Godley and Creme - soft spot for their "Lady In Red" - for my wife and I, it is "our song."

You're not alone. There's usually a Rickenbacker in the background in the good music. I dunno why, but that's how it is.

Pop music....in 70's we had 10cc, now we have Lady Gaga...

I don't think we'll be hearing a Rick in GaGa anytime soon

Kevin Godley used to live at the end of the High Street here until a couple of years back.

He was always around - you'd always see him, especially on a Sunday morning, very casually dressed, picking up his paper!

Eric Stewart used to live near by as well, not sure if he still does.
