Weighing in on the Jetglo C64S - Rare or Compromise?

as noted in the for sale section, i've listed the C64S Jetglo i just received on ebay (for unforseen financial reasons).
a local buyer is after it - now i'm having second thoughts.
i've read Ben Hall's reasoning on why they produce them (while in production, the wood grain of some C64S' doesn't meet aesthetic standards).
as only a few dozen have been produced - do you forsee this being a rare/valuable bass in the future; or a compromise of the intended product?
i'm trying to convince myself to hold onto it.

Does rare equal greater value?

It's obviously more valuable to you than the normal S model, does it matter what anyone else thinks? There must be something else you could sell instead.

Well you're not that far ahead, I posted 10 mins before you.

But yes, good decision. I'd definitely hold on to the C64S, what a cool bass.

True (example: Antigua Fenders), although collector value is another story. Black instruments tend to go for less, even if they're rare. Still, I think it was a good choice to keep it...you won't see too many jetglo c64S.
