Disconcerting....

Gosh, I was ready with all sorts of smart-assed comments, but when I saw the picture of the baby and her poor, sweet parents, the wind went out of my sails...

How sad.... That's kind of disturbing.

Paul, when I read the thread subject line, I was ready with pulp rag thoughts and visions.

Well... i think a rare mother would wish her baby to be like that... but as it seems, the baby girl is okay, and her parents love her (and why on earth shouldn't they — that's their baby, and indeed it's not her fault that she's so different from an average baby). I wish them all the best.

Oh my. I thought this was going to be some kind of joke.
