I'm sure this has been answered elsewhere, but does the 1993 4003S have the capacitor? And a 1- or 2-piece pickguard?

No capacitor, 1 piece.

No Cap, 1 piece guard, modern truss rods that adjust under the TRC.

And I love those S's!

Thanks, all. I've been without a Rick since I sold my Jetglo 1972 4001 Deluxe with checkerboard binding in 1975. Shoulda kept that one! But I've always liked the dot neck and sculpted body on the S models.
