Okay here's this week's poser.

Could be solo, duo group etc.

This act was very successful in US and UK between the years 55 to 62 notching up, together over 55 top 40 hits in US and UK including number one singles.

Like a lot of acts, the beat group boom brought an end to the success commercially.

This track an old Roy Orbison number originally, dates from quite a few years later and is taken from an album, the title of which suggests that the act felt they had been labelled wrongly.

Tip; click on symbol to left of file name to get track to play straight away.

My guess is in, Roy. An interesting version.

For some reason or another this track brought back memories of Michelle Pfeiffer draped across the piano in "The Fabulous Baker Boys" singing "Makin' Whoopee", I think this song is however a little more sombre, but I digress. My guess is in.

I'm gettin' old Roy! I remember this album (who could forget it) but didn't make the connection until today. Great test; I'm in.
