To two of my faves from two ends of the musical spectrum: Link Wray and Angela Bofill.

Everybody knows, "Rumble".

But if you haven't heard Angie sing "Break It To Me Gently", you haven't heard one of the best jazz vocalists of the '70s and '80s.

A certain tyke named Whitney Houston stole Angie's style when Angie went into semi-retirement; I wish Angie would have gotten the recognition and exposure she deserved, as Whitney was about 50% as strong as Angie.

Link Wray... he's the man. A cross between Elvis and the Ventures and Duane Eddy and... well, he's really just Link. I've got a good chunk of his stuff. I'll give a listen to Angie. Not familiar with her work but I'm sure she's amazing.
