Went to the North West Guitar Show yesterday in Manchester & there were quite a few Rickenbackers for sale.I noticed 2 new 4003's,1 4001 MG from 1974 and a large selection of Ric guitars.I had'nt seen that many Ric's in one place for a long time.A great day out.

The prices were a bit of a shock at Music Grounds Stand.I think that the JG 4003 was brand new.It was a nice day & a good show,& if i thought about it earlier we could have all met up,Pete (seyes) was also at the Guitar show as well.

Hi Shawn,
I forgot to mention the 330 (I think) lightshow that Musicground advertised recently for £10,000!!!
But why anyone would buy the non-vintage Ric basses they had at those mad prices is anyones guess.
On the upside I was nearly tempted into getting my credit card out for the Cort bass at £499. It was one of those "dont tell anyone but just for today" kind of deals.
Lots of stuff there for the six string guys but not many basses this year.
