I am thinking of selling my 325FG manufactured in May of 1967. I bought it new from a music store in Baltimore. To be honest I never got used to the 3/4scale so it has virtually no playing time on it. It is in MINT condition! There are no scratches, dings or dents on it. It is 100% original except for the strings and a replaced wammy bar...bought replacement from Rickenbacker....original was lost years ago. It has the original case which is also in excellent condition. I am looking for a value. I don't want to give it away but also don't want to over price it.

Don't be surprised if Peter moves this to the "For Sale" section. I dare say a few of the guitar guys, such a John Williams and John Simmons can give you a fairly accurate value.

That's a really nice 325 you have for sure, and I hope to have one similar to it in my own collection some day...

As luck would have it there is a '66 325 on ebay at the moment and is setting at $4850 as of this writing....I'd suggest seeing how high the bidding gets to, and that might give somewhat of an indicator as to what the market will bring. My own feelings are that your guitar is probably worth around $6500 or thereabouts---but the values on many things are up and down right now....

Having said that, Ebay is not the greatest source for learning this kind of info for you don't know if the bidding is artificially inflated or not.....

Does the f-hole make it a 325S or 1996?

Dog, just about all of the 325s in those days had f-holes as standard, with the very-odd man out having a solid-top. Paul's is just a nice straight 325, as they came in '67. No RM here.

IMO, being that it is a one-owner, if the right buyer were out there, it could go a little higher. Though, with the way the economy is today, who knows?

That's quite a guitar. Its impeccable history is certainly commendable
