As part of a RAS attack this morning, I acquired a 4001C64. It'll be my first Rick bass, I'm going over to the dark side

. I'll put some photos up when I take delivery of it in a week or so. I think it's smiling at you

Congrats on your latest purchases, Wes. Personally, I still can't get used to the reversed headstock, but they are still wonderful basses to play. Once you cross the dark side, you'll never go back!

It's not the dark side, it's the cool side. You'll realize that when you get the bass.

It's weird, the headstock's really grown on me, otherwise I never would have bought one.

Congrats Wes. I love my C64S and would have specified the upside-down headstock if I had a choice. It just makes sense on a McCartney replica bass.
But I do think the regular C64 should be offered in either headstock configuration.

Nice bass choice, Wes! As Joey said, it is the cool side. Feel the power of the thunder!

When I plug it into this thing mountains will move.

Wes, if you do that at home, put pillows on the floor under anything breakable on a shelf or hanging on the wall!

I love my C64, I have no problem with the reverse headstock, I think it is actually cool, gives the bass an extra added mojo and unique personality.
