Thanks Scotty for the post and pm. Great to see all those Ricks in action, and it's funny, 'cos I know he still has loads more that weren't in the video.I wonder which ones he still has left, but will probably have less of a chance seeing him play any live with him being the Epiphone advert Artist these days.
I saw him on Conan last year playing this very song with a Casino turned down too low in the mix, and the other guitarist playing the main riff on a 335, which dejangled the song, but sure fattened up the riff. I still can't get used to him playing anything other than his Ricks, as it just looks funny to me, kinda like Angus Young playing a Strat or something.

I have this book with a pic of all wellers Rickies. I'll try to scan it once.
Weller gave some Rickenbackers away. Noel Gallagher of Oasis has the white one with black guard and P decal and Steve Cradock (Weller, Ocean Colour Scene) received the famous all black one for his birthday. I saw him play this very battered and very expensive one live once.

Go have another Budweiser ya daft scot Maybe I'll get a Paul Weller cut with the long pointy sides. Then you could be Scotty, and I could be Spock!
Good grief, could you imagine us running a Starship? You'd probably back it in to something
