Interesting article, Tony. It makes me wonder because it doesn't really say anything. Will the pieces be performed on this tour... unlikely, as it sounds like just ideas, but if they want to move in that direction, they will have my full support. I love the long tracks.
I know that Jon & Trevor are friends and the possibility of a 90125 type lineup is never too far out of the question. But the possibility of the classic lineup returning to form is what I look forward to... How about a CD with the vocal level of "Magnification", the energy and freshness of "The Ladder", the form of "Close to the edge" and the tightness and clarity of "Fragile"! Along with heavy does of the 4001S and ES-175
I don't understand Jon's comment about it not making sense to do a record. Every YES member should be committed to this every few years, because which solo project could be more important??? Unless it is simply a matter of $$$ and that no one buys what they can have for free. It's a differnt world, for sure.
We're getting close to Tour Time. I still don't want the set list, but if anyone spots a film crew at their venue, please let us know.
