Been working on this for about a month; 61 vids are now up, and in chronological order.
You'll find all the classics, plus RARITIES like "I'm A Loser", "Long Tall Sally", "Not Fade Away", "Earl Scruggs Family & Friends", "Memphis Talent Show", "The Midnight Special", "Where The Action Is", "Shivaree", etc.
Go here:
http://www.youtube.com/craviola880
Then scroll down to the Byrds folder, and there you go.
PLEASE feel free to let me know about any corrections, errors, or if any noteworthy anecdotes should be added.
Enjoy the Tryp.
Christian

Very nice work indeed. Thanks.
Interesting that such an influential band has relatively little film available for us to enjoy.
Si....

Hey Christian:
Since I couldn't get on the RRF last night, I spent the time gettin' my Rick fix watching the videos. Great stuff there. Thanks for locating & posting all those.

Obviously, some overdubbed six string guitar here on "Not Fade Away" by someone in the Shindig house band.
Well, I wouldn't say "overdubbed," exactly .
The house band (first called the Shindiggers and later changed to the Shindogs) played live on the show.
Some members of the Shindogs included: Glen Campbell, Jame Burton, Delaney Bramlett, Leon Russell and Billy Preston. *
* There's actually a very interesting connection among the Shindogs, Eric Clapton and George Harrison.

Oh yes, absolutely.
That's where he met his wife (Bonnie) and where he met Leon Russell.
And, as I briefly alluded to, there is a very musically historical link that runs from the Shindig house band and Delaney and Leon to George Harrison, Eric Clapton, Joe Cocker, Derek and the Dominoes, etc.
Here's some more info:
