Gonna be re-chroming some horsies and they're likely
to loose gauss.
Anyone know how to re magnetize them? Sergio? Paul? Dale?.....

It was posted here in one of the sections once before...you could try a search for it? Probably in the pickup section I'd guess...

I seem to remember the shoes are taken off and hooked up to a powerful magnet such as on a welder or a big speaker perhaps? I forgot...but it is something like that....and then you leave it on there for a day or so.

With 'shoes and a hammer in hand, make a trip to the Earth's magnetic North Pole. It's in Canada, somewhere. If you get lost, stop at Peter McCormack's place for a sandwich and directions. Once you get to the Pole, give the 'shoes a good smack with the hammer and you'll be set.

Watch out for the polar bears, though...

You only have to wave a soldering iron, or fart near them and they will lose gauss!
