Kind of weird but what kind of a strap did Paul use during the MMT and Sgt Pepper's era and where can you get them?

A "long shiny one"!

I mean it was obviously black leather, but didn't it have some type of buckle or something like that. Any idea where to find one like his?

I meant the strap he used for his Ric. as seen in most of the MMT music videos. He definately didn't have any of the straps listed there

Sorry Nolan, I was thinking of early photos of the 4001s with the black strap from the POTR page I linked.

I'm trying to make out exactly what it is from watching the "Hello Goodbye" video. It looks fairly "normal". Maybe others can chime in?

This great photo gives a bit of insight. It's like a normal leather strap except it's got slots that span the whole length of the strap as opposed to just one end. The leather strap that threads the slots appears to be for aesthetics only.

I'm pretty sure the one in the MMT video is the same black that's in the photo I posted. The other one's obviously brown and has that buckle, maybe it's the one he employed after the bass was sanded down.

The problem is, where in the world does one acquire one?

Any new leads on this strap?
