What strings are these?

This may seem an odd question...!
I just put a set of strings on my 4003 - used, but in perfect condition, and I have no idea where I got them from. Here's a description:
Gauges 45, 65, 85, 105, nickel roundwound. (They actually measure a thousandth or two smaller than this, but I assume these are the gauges they're supposed to be.) Red cotton windings at both ends, which start about 2" further up the string on the A and D compared to the E and G at the headstock end. The ball ends are chrome, with very rounded shoulders. The D string is unusual in that it has a surprisingly large gauge of outer wrap wire, larger even than the E, and in fact it doesn't intonate quite perfectly even with the saddle as far back as it will go.
They sound 'growly', although not as edgy as the Rotosounds I took off, which I was finding quite rough - these strings feel slightly smoother and are definitely lower tension since the neck is even closer to dead straight than it was before, without adjusting the rods.
Do these sound familiar to anyone? I probably should know (since I repair and restring plenty of basses), but I just can't quite remember if I've seen them before. I do like them better than the Rotosounds, so I'd like to find out what they are and try a brand new set.
