Caught his verison of it on youtube. Pretty good version for ol' Neil. He's still a surprising act.

Neil's got a life long fascination for A Day In The Life. For his Rust Never Sleeps tour 1978, the song was used as a pre-show preludium over the sound system, together with a.o. (?) Hendrix' Star Spangled Banner. But it was The Beatles' own version...
