Here you go. For all my friends over the water.

Aimee Mann - 4th of July.

The opening lyrics.......

"Today's the Fourth of July
Another June has gone by
And when they light up our town I just think
What a waste of gun powder and sky...."

It's the day we decided Tea was for icing and soccer was a schoolgirls sport!

I think that was also when we decided to turn "God save the Queen" in to "My Country 'tis of Thee", as the musicians were apparrantly too broke to tour(one of historys constants). It's painfully obvious that there weren't too many over here at that time.

This was all in the spirit of humour, and not meant to offend, but if somehow you were, perhaps a little more fiber in your diet can help. :D

My fellow americans, happy fourth of july, and don't blow yourselves up.

I think it was on Antique Road Shows, some old lady found it in her attic; she was told it was probably authentic, maybe!
